This hook is approximately 4.5 inches in length and can be used as a pencil style or you can palm the hook.  We call it the easy gripper because it easily fits into the hand of many rug hookers. It has the Aultimatic wide shank that is our standard shank which opens a nice size hole in the background fabric.. The Aultimatic shank makes it easier to pull wider cuts through the background.
