If you are an inexperienced or beginning rug hooker, there are some things you really need to make rug hooking more fun and productive. We manufacture all the equipment you need.

Ault’s Easy Loop Pulling Hooks

We also produce our hooks that fit your hand, are easy to use to catch the loop under the pattern and we make several standard handle shapes from laminated wood, solid native American wood or from recycled plastic milk bottles with various colors and patterns. Our hooks are designed to be used on Primitive Hooking Patterns. We also manufacture custom hooks to fit your hand or rug hooking needs. Our standard hooks retail for $34.95. We can build a bent hook for you if you have arthritic hands. Bent hooks are $5.00 extra.

Wool Strip Cutting Machines

For beginners we stock new and used machines for cutting wool into the size you want. Of course, used machines are less expensive. They range from $100.00 to $325.00, depending on models (Rigby or Fraser) and condition or age. We recondition and clean used machines so they are ready to use when you receive them.

We also manufacture a very competitively priced cassette cutter similar to the Townsend-type of machine. Our machine uses our cutter cartridges and our cartridges also work in the Townsend type machine. Our Ault’s Universal Cutter Head retails for $175.00 each.

We also have a current small inventory of new special order/custom made A2 cartridges which retail for $275.00 each.
